The Bahamas is moving toward a Digital Arrival Card
In May 2026, The Bahamas announced the soft launch of the Bahamas Digital Arrival Card, or BDAC.
The pilot represents the country's first move toward replacing the traditional paper immigration card with a digital entry process.
During the pilot, selected participating visitors can complete entry documentation online before arriving.
Is the Bahamas Digital Arrival Card mandatory for everyone?
Not currently, based on the initial pilot announcement.
The Bahamas launched the system as a pilot for select visitors and participating arrivals. The traditional process continues alongside the pilot while the digital system is introduced.
Do not assume every Bahamas traveler must complete BDAC unless official requirements have changed and have been verified.
What is the Bahamas Digital Arrival Card?

Why is The Bahamas introducing a digital arrival card?
The initiative is intended to modernize and streamline the visitor arrival process and reduce reliance on paper documentation.
