Is there a Cayman immigration form?

Travelers search for a Cayman immigration form. This guide does not invent a branded digital arrival product. Visitor entry is an inspection process with Customs & Border Control.

Passport

Cayman Customs & Border Control currently says every person arriving must produce a passport or other valid document establishing identity and nationality or place of permanent residence, valid beyond the date of the return ticket.

That documentation does not necessarily have to be valid for over six months if six months is more than the length of stay. Do not copy a generic “six-month passport rule” onto Cayman without checking this official wording.

Visa

Persons from certain countries need a valid visa for the Cayman Islands. Others may enter as visitors without a visa. Check official nationality lists rather than assuming your last Caribbean trip matches Cayman.

Visitor entry

A visitor must have a paid return ticket or a ticket to the next destination outside the Islands. An officer may also ask for sufficient funds for the stay.

Visitors may be granted permission to land for a period of up to six months, with possible further periods on application to the Director of Customs & Border Control. Permission is granted at the border.

Grand Cayman vs the Cayman Islands

Most visitors fly into Grand Cayman (Owen Roberts International Airport). Cayman Brac and Little Cayman are part of the same territory. This page covers Cayman Islands visitor entry; it is not a separate Grand Cayman-only rulebook.

2026 immigration legislation

Cayman immigration legislation has been changing. Employment, residency and work-permit reforms are not automatically tourist requirements. Do not treat a work-permit headline as a new arrival form for holiday visitors unless official visitor guidance says so.

Customs

Customs rules for goods, alcohol and currency are separate from immigration landing permission. Follow official Customs & Border Control information.
