Most air arrivals to the island go through Princess Juliana International Airport on the Dutch side. Official Sint Maarten tourism currently asks stayover and yacht visitors to complete a free ED Card at entry.sx before travel. It is not described as fully mandatory yet; airlines may still ask for the QR code at check-in.
Timing: Official Sint Maarten tourism currently says the entry.sx portal opens within seven days of arrival.
Fee: The official ED Card on entry.sx is free. Third-party sites that charge a processing fee are not the government service.
Languages spoken: Dutch is official. English is widely used.
